SMOLNO LAKE REGULATIONS – FISHING (2020)

1. The fishery covers the waters of Lake Smolno with an area of 17 ha.

2. Ewa Moskwa-Białek is an owner of the lake and sells permits for amateur fishing on Lake Smolno.

3. The fishing season is open all year.

4. Purchase of the permit entitles you to use the car- park, shed and the platforms on Lake Smolno.

5. Foreigners do not need the fishing license.

6. The regulations is for amateur fishing and the law Inland Fisheries Act and the ordinances of relevant ministers regarding amateur fishing. In addition, the following rules are introduced:

• when fishing with live bait or spinning, it is forbidden to use a triple-hooks only single hooks are allowed.

• the angler is obliged to have during fishing: a landing net, long pliers for unhooking fish, a tong for opening jaw (only for fishing predators), measure and weight. When fishing a carp, additionally: a carp mat, a carp bag and a landing net with a side of at least 100 cm. Not having any of this equipment makes it impossible to start fishing on the lake and authorizes the inspector to invalid the permit of fishing. It is advised you have a fish care kit available.

• when fishing live-bait, it is forbidden to use any live fish as only caught in Lake Smolno.

• before fishing, every angler is obliged to notify the authorized persons of the intention to fish via SMS or phone, the phone number for notification is given on the notice board of Lake Smolno.

• after fishing, however, before leaving the lake you should send an SMS about the completed fishing and the amount of fish caught.

• caught fish should be handled delicately and ethically.

• no rods to be left unattended at anytime.

• floating equipment must be registered (only Polish anglers is required) and equipped with life-saving equipment in accordance with safety rules.

• every angler must comply with the law on the protection of nature, the environment and the fisheries act.

Carp anglers are forbidden to use braided lines as the main line and also a mono line arrow!!

– the possibility of using leadcore.

– the use of raw and spoiled grain is absolutely forbidden. The owner and the controlling person have the right to inspect the groundbaits.

– each carp rig may be equipped with only one hook at its end.

– obligation to have a disinfectant for fish. After unhooking the fish, each fish should be decontaminated.

– it is forbidden to go ashore with fish over 25+ for a photo session. Photos or videos should be taken in the water, on the shore.

– it is forbidden to keep grass carp in carp sacks, regardless of its weight and time of year.

7. Purchase of a permit gives consent to possible inspection of the permit, fishing sets, means of transport and personal belongings at the time of suspected breaking of the regulations of the fishery. In case of refusal of control by private persons, a state authority authorized to do so will be called upon.

8. The theft of fish is punishable by criminal proceedings under KK Art.278 and for intrusion into private premises according to Art. 193 KK.

9. The authorized to control are: fishing guard, forest services, police and the owner of the lake and persons authorized by him.

10. It is prohibited to:

• start fishing without informing the authorized person.

• littering the fishery, shoreline, reservoir and parking.

• everyone takes the garbage after fishing.

• cutting, breaking trees, shrubs and vegetation growing on the reservoir and the shoreline.

• lighting bonfires outside designated areas.

• behaving loudly.

• use of floating equipment under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

• braiding is allowed provided that a 10 m fishing line leader is used and only on the “Skarpa” platform, the use of braids is prohibited on other platforms!!

11. Failure to comply with the regulations, protective dimensions, limits and the Fisheries Act authorizes the owner to withdraw the fishing permit.

12. The lake is not a bathing area within the meaning of the regulations, therefore everyone who swims in the lake does so at their own risk and responsibility.

13. The owner of the lake and the landlord shall not be liable for accidents, theft or other fortuitous events that may occur in connection with purchasing a fishing permit or renting camping gear and floating equipment on Lake Smolno.

Catch limits:
pike – one pc per day
zander – PROHIBITION
eel – 1 pc per day
carp – PROHIBITION
tench – 2 pcs per day
the remaining 3 kg a day

Protective dimensions:
pike – till 50cm and up to 70cm
eel – till 50cm
tench – till 30 cm
bream – till 40 cm
others in accordance with the Act

Use of platforms and camping sites:

1. The owner of the lake does not own the platforms and does not charge any fees for using them.

2. The owner of the lake charges a fee only for permission for amateur fishing on Lake Smolno.

3. It is forbidden to light fires or use open fire in camping sites.

4. The law on environmental protection applies in every campsite, and in particular it is forbidden to destroy vegetation and loud behavior.

5. Camping sites are located in the area of state forests. The lake owner obtained permission from the Wałcz Forest Inspectorate for camping at fishing stands.

6. Camping permission applies only to people who have bought a permit for amateur fishing on Lake Smolno.

7. The Wałcz Forest Inspectorate and the owner of the lake are not responsible for any accidents, fortuitous events, and thefts that may occur in the camping grounds.

8. Due to the threat of falling trees, extreme caution should be exercised at camping sites, especially during violent weather phenomena. Wałcz Forest Inspectorate as well as the owner of the lake and company renting tents are not liable for damages and accidents resulting from this title.

9. For safety reasons, the use of the platforms must be carried out with extreme caution and in particular: minors must be under the care of an adult, the use of equipment under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is prohibited, it is recommended to use life jackets at night.

Rental of tents, camping gear, boats and use of parking:

1. Robert Białek “Biuro Tajga” rents tents, camping gear and boats.

2. Person renting the equipment declares that he is familiar with the technical condition of the equipment and makes no comments.

3. Any damage or destruction during the rental shall be borne by the person renting the equipment.

4. If there are more than one renting person, liability for damage or destruction will be jointly and severally borne by all tenants.

5. The renting person declares that he understands the risks arising from the placement of tents on the platform and accommodation at night, in particular the possibility of falling into the lake or destruction or loss of expensive personal belongings due to wetting or falling into the lake and undertakes to proceed and use the platform and tent with extreme caution and waives any claims against the landlord in the event of the above events.

6. The renting person undertakes to: use the means of floating in a manner consistent with the safety rules and relevant regulations and in particular: always use life jackets, do not use measures floating under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, do not make available floating materials to minors without the supervision of a guardian.

7. For safety reasons, it is recommended to wear life jackets at night when camping on the platforms.


MISSISIPI LAKE REGULATIONS – FISHING

1. The fishery Missisipi covers waters two lakes: Studnica of 24ha + Studniczka of 12ha.

2. Robert Białek is an owner of the lake and sells permits for amateur fishing on lake Missisipi.

3. The fishing season is open all year.

4. Purchase of a permit entitles you to use the platforms and fishing.

5. Foreigners do not need the fishing license.

6. The regulations is for amateur fishing and the law Inland Fisheries Act and the ordinances of relevant ministers regarding amateur fishing. In addition, the following rules are introduced:

Use of positions:

1. The owner of the lake charges a fee only for amateur fishing on Lake Missisipi (Studnica, Studniczka).

2. There are no facilities at Missisipi Lake.

3. Acces: swim 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 by car, other swims by boat.

4. It is forbidden to light fires or use open fire in camping sites.

5. The law on environmental protection applies in every campsite, and in particular it is forbidden to destroy vegetation and loud behavior.

6. Animals accompanying persons staying in a forest area has to be kept on a leash.

7. Camping permission is intended only for people who have bought a permit for amateur fishing on Lake Missisipi (Studnica, Studniczka).

8. The Świerczyna Forest District and the leaseholder are not responsible for any accidents, fortuitous events, and thefts that may occur on the camping grounds.

9. Due to the threat of falling trees, extreme caution should be exercised at camping sites, especially during violent weather phenomena. The Świerczyna Forest Inspectorate and the owner of the lake are not responsible for damages and accidents resulting from this title.

10. For safety reasons, the use of platforms must be done with extreme caution and in particular: minors must be under the care of an adult, the use of equipment under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is prohibited, it is recommended to use life jackets at night.
